Have a strange issue, I setup a calendar with repeat events for my bin collections. As you can see today from the main calendar view that it’s “Household” day today, however in my button on my dashboard it’s reading as Recycling? I only have 1 calendar set up, I’ve removed it and re-added it, created all the events again?
Bit of a funky one! Any ideas?
If the calendar source data isn’t wrong, then the problem must obviously be with how your dashboard widget gets its data, and you haven’t provided any information about that so impossible for anyone to say anything really…
It’s just a badge that reads form a bin sensor. I think you’re right though I need to check on this sensor, I thought it linked directly to to calendar.bins but it seems at some point I have created a sensor.bin which no doubt will have “days until”
My only problem is I cannot find that sensor to edit it haha! I will dig
If created from the UI it will be in Settings > Devices & services > Helpers, if configured by YAML it is in configuration.yaml or some other file inserted there through one of the !include directives.
Thanks for your pointer, I’ve cracked it. I had an integration running and I renamed something which knocked my sensor out, now back up and running thanks and sorry to waste your time!
