"Calibrating" temperature sensor

Hello,
i’d like to “calibrate” one zigbee temperature sensor because it’s off.
I found this this forum and this post here How to calibrate zigbee temp sensor but there is only some code? i guess and i have no idea how to use it?
WIll it be possible to do that from web interface by clicking on something? It is possible that i missed something because even after few monts that i have it i’m still lost and overhelmed a lot by all buttons.
And also i don’t want to broke something by clicking on something that i don’t know what is doing. Curent setting tooks me a LOT of time, i have time only at evenings so i took me over two weeks to have something here so i believe that you understand that i don’t want to broke it.

And excuse mine english, i’m not a native speaker.

Anyway thanks for help.

Hi, it depends a bit what you need to calibrate. If it is just reducing the state/value with stable value X then a template sensor is easiest.
If the direction and size of tweaking differs depending on the value, then this is what I know / use:
Compensation - Home Assistant

Temperature, which is off by few degree.
Thanks for hyperlink but it seems it’s full of some code to which i don’t understand. And i don’t know what to do with that or where to use it.

Anyway thanks for reply, it seems that even after some time spended by searching i wasn’t able to find some “clickable” solution ( maybe i use wrong questions or i just simply don’t understand ), all i’m able to find is this programing code. So i just remeber that this one sensor is little bit off.
Again, thanks for your time to reply to my question.

It it is stable (!) ‘off’ then just use a template sensor that subtracts/adds a value . I have humidity sensors that need quite a lot more correction below 60% and in that case the compensation helps (or buy a better sensor?? )
