Hello all,
I installed the TECH7Fox Asterisk integration and linked my FreePBX Asterisk VM to my Home Assistant Docker instance. Everything worked great but I noticed that I only see numbers, no names, when someone is calling. With the openHAB (I am switching from OH to HA at the moment) integration I see a name (if FreePBX has one) or the number. Better would be name (or “unknown” or something like this) and number, but no names is a problem for notifications from HA. Btw, notifications are the only thing I am using at the moment with the OH integration.
Can anybody help about this problem?
As I only use the integration to make notifications about incoming calls (begin and end), I could also use another integration. But to be honest, I did not find one which looks more promising than this one. Maybe user problem, so if you can point me to something else, I’m happy, too.
