Can 2 separate Wink hub 2 share same Wink Developer Keys?

Configuration:

  • First Wink hub 2 is in my home attached to RPi Home Assistant and running smoothly.
  • A second Wink hub 2 will be placed in my vacation home along with RPi.
  • OpenVPN PTP already connecting between both homes.

I’ve already configured MQTT Eventstream Master/Slave between both the RPi devices and successfully talking and seeing devices being added across both. I will be placing the second Wink and RPi in few weeks.

Before doing so, can both RPi running HASSO share the same Wink Developer client ID and secret as long as the second network redirect URL is added to the URIS? Or do I need to request a new new API key?

You can use the same config, that will be fine.
