Can Broadlink react when a remote's button is pressed?

Hi All,

I have a BestCon RM4c mini. It works perfectly with the Broadlink Integration. I’m wondering if there is a way for it to react to a remote being pressed?

Here’s what I’m trying to achieve …

  • My TV is not a supported TV that the Amazon Fire Stick remote can turn on and off
  • I have set up my Android TV with the Broadlink Integration
  • I have also set up an On/Off toggle for my TV using the Broadlink Integration
  • I have set up my Fire TV Stick with the Broadlink Integration

Now here’s the rub …

  • I want to monitor the power button on my Fire TV Stick remote, and then trigger a script/automation to issue the On/Off toggle for my TV

I am perfectly willing to accept that this may not be the purpose of the Broadlink device itself. If so, can someone recommend something that can achieve what I want please?

Thanks in advance, and a happy holiday season to all.
