Can Generic Hygrostat follow underlying device's power state?

I’m using a Generic Hygrostat to drive an underlying physical humidifier with a Tuya interface. I noticed that when I turn off the humidifier using its physical power button, Generic Hygrostat turns it back on because its humidity setpoint hasn’t been reached yet.

Ideally, I’d like Generic Hygrostat to notice that I’ve toggled the humidifier’s power, and to turn itself off (or on) as well; in other words, to follow the underlying device’s power state. (I see that in theory this could create a race between the power-button toggles initiated by the user and by Generic Hygrostat, but I’d be willing to live with that.)

Is the behavior I desire already available, or is there a standard automation or blueprint for it?

Thanks in advance!
