Can i give the timer a one time change

Hi all,

I’m currently using my airconditioning with a timer to turn it off. It’s just a simple timer that triggers an automation to turn my AC off. By default it’s set on 2 hours. But on occasion, like today, i want to set it to 5 hours. I don’t want that 5 hour to be a permanent change, just a one time thing.

Any idea on how i can do that? or even better, when i start the timer, it should ask me first how long in want it to run.

I solved this by making two scripts and two buttons on the dashboard activating those scripts. so I can choose anytime from two different times the airco will run.

By what means are you currently setting it to 5 hours? Via a script activated by a button?
