Since few days, I can not access my HA anymore. It is not even seen by my router, even it is connected via Ethernet.
The LED from ethernet port are both orange / green then in few seconds turn of both same time, and 30 sec later are again ON both. NO flashing, just stabile lights on and off.
The power LED is RED, and GREEN flashing
I use a SD card where i have installed raspberry image.
Is there any way to access the raspberry at least to make a backup of HA ?
I dont have a separate display, so connecting to PC would be preffered.
SD card is readable by the PC, but i don't know what to do with it.
This may come too late, but don''t overwrite your working SD Card where you may have a good working backup stored from the automated backup routines, ready to restore once you find a HDMI adapter or cable to display your diagnostics messages and possible errors. You may need your keyboard from your computer as well, so make sure it is a compatible USB type.
this is exactly what I was thinking. Since I have the automatic backup activated in Home Assistant, I really hope that will help me when I will get through this problem.
i manage to install HA in another SD card, so via SHH i connected to my raspberry pi
in the same time, when i swich SD card, ne old one does not work in the PI. Is simply not visible in the router IPs, and not accesibile via SHH
Is there any way to copy my HA backups from the OLD sd card to the new one ?
you don't need a screen, i haven't self to HA. many ways to do it. install remote screen, but ssh is much better and have all you need to control it. even Rpi or pc you run HA on.
if you dont see any local ip on router for HA, i think your SD is corrupt. common error on SD when its failed, run HA from SSD or NVMe. musch faster and safer
Yes, i think SD card is corrupt !
Is there any chance to take the automatic backup that were done during the time and transfer it to the new SD card or SSD i will use ?
thank you !
