Hello everyone, I’m still struggling with integrating Switchbot Lock Pro into HA. I think I’ve watched all the videos on YouTube and started over again with a new instance. But the devices can’t be found. I would offer 50 euros for an online session on my computer to find the gap in my configuration. I’ve tried Bluetooth ESP32, MATTER and HUB Mini, MQTT, etc. No success. I’m a programmer, so I’m not completely stupid. But I’ve reached a dead end and can’t get any further.
The whole thing is running in a VM on a Synology Diskstation 224+.
It shouldn’t make a difference if you’re running it in VM or somewhere else.
Are you trying to use BLE integration or Cloud integration or just Matter?
If you’re going for BLE - that should work, make sure your ESP32 is flashed with BLE Proxy software, make sure you have BLE integration active in home assistant and that you have activated Switchbot BLE integration too.
For SwitchBot Hub Mini, you can use SwitchBot cloud integration. That one should be easier - jsut need credentials to SwitchBot cloud account and make sure that SwitchBot lock is visible via SwitchBot app as conencted to Hub.
For matter, you need working Matter integration active in Home Assistant, you need to pair Hub with Home Assistant and as sub-device in Hub select Lock to publish it over Matter - done that one long time ago, so that’s from the top of my head.
