I just installed on a PC and it seem to be running fine but I can not connect via http://homeassistant:8123. I’m new to this so a little help would be appreciated.
Does it need to be hard Ethernet or can I connect wirelessly?
Thank you.

wireless should be fine, but it should probably be http://homeassistant.local:8123 instead.
If http://homeassistant.local:8123 does not work, use http://xx.xx.xx.xx:8123 (replace xx.xx.xx.xx with the IP adress shown on the HA screen)
Thank you I will try that. It is much appreciated
Thank you I will let you know.
Where do I find the IP address?
When I boot up the PC that’s running home assistant I do not see an address anywhere. Just the ha.
I believe I found the IP address. Unfortunately that did not work either and it keeps saying the site can’t be reached. Am I missing something else?
I’ve installed home assistant OS directly on the PC. Is there another way to verify the IP address or that I have everything running correctly?
Running home assistant OS 15.2
I finally got it to work. Thank you so much for your help
