Can you have two Z-Wave controllers in the same house?

I currently have all of my Devices configured in my Hubitat C8 Pro. I have all of the devices available in my HA Green using the Hubitat Integration. Works great! But I want to start moving Z-Wave devices from the Hubitat and pair them directly with the Green. I would reset the Z-Wave device (Unpairing it with the Hubitat) then pair it with the Green.

Are there any potential issues I should be aware of with two Z-Wave controllers in my house, e.g., interfering with each other?

-Thanks

Yeah that’s no problem.

But first you might see if you can switch to Z-Wave JS directly in the Hubitat and then make an NVM backup. Then you could restore it directly to your new controller with Z-Wave JS.

Or, if the Hubitat has a way to export the NVM that might work.

Restoring the NVM means you don’t need to re-include the devices.

I didn’t realize that NVM data would be cross-compatible. That would certainly save a great deal of time. I will definitely look into that!

-Thanks

Z-Wave JS can convert NVM formats, as long as the SDK version is v6.61 (I believe) and up.
