I would like to know if its possible to run usix sudo bash commands on a home assistant yellow.
The reason i ask is because I have been trying to get Home assistant yellow working with zigbee, it would work intermittently for a day or so and then error, i have posted the errors but got no responses
I completely rebuild HA yellow from the latest available image a few weeks ago (did not restore anything) and have been slowly adding back functionality with only, but cannot even get it running for a day now, it will not install failing on the hardware / software screen
I found this on the zigbee page, so would liek to find out if mode manager is installed and causing my problem, and remove it, if it is !
should be a simple ask, i have both serial and ssh access to the device but cant fins anywhere the correct commands to run
And unless you have opened a developer SSH access, which normally run as on port 22222, then you are probably in a Docker container with its own environment.
Useful information @WallyR thank you,
not sure what it means
suggests its owned by the operating system process systemd ??
there is also a section there that appears to allow you to change between Thread and Zigbee but it displays this message when you select it. Home Assistant Yellow
The radio firmware on your Home Assistant Yellow could not be determined. Make sure that no other integration or addon is currently trying to communicate with the device.
Note to self to see the Silicon labs in the add-on store, you need to enable Advanced mode in the logged on User settings before you can add “Silicon Labs Flasher” / “Silicon Labs Multiprotocol”
the updater seems to deploy an update , although the device should have already been on version sdk_version=‘4.4.4’, ezsp_version=‘7.4.4.0’ as this is what it updated to last time
no different on the adding zigbee as an integration, it fails with “Failed to connect” message on the Hardware / software step
