Right now I have a Hubitat I’m using for home automation, and just installed an HA Green. The plan is to install the Hubitat Integration and have access to Hubitat devices.
But I’d like to get a ZBT-1 so I can access Zigbee devices directly from the Green. If I do this I would guess I need to configure Zigbee on the HA on a different channel than the Hubitat?
Your devices can only be on 1 controller one mesh.
You can have 2 meshes going as long as different channel, pan-id and neywork key.
But the meshes will be separate.
Thanks. That’s good I wanted them separate. So I’ll install the ZBT-1, then change it to a channel different than Hubitat’s 25. And then be able to add devices without affecting the Hubitat Zigbee mesh.
I’m planning on slowly transitioning over to HA bu using the HACS Hubitat Integration. That way I can create automations on devices which are in Hubitat, before moving them to HA.
