Cannot access HA Green anymore after failed DynuDNS setup

Hi all,

First time poster looking for help getting access to my HA again.

I use HA through my HA Green unit. Early on I set up remote access through DuckDNS, but recently I decided to switch since I was unhappy with DuckDNS. I also gave HA Cloud a try in between DuckDNS and DynuDNS but I couldn’t manage to get some stuff working so now I wanted to try DynuDNS. I digress…

Somehow I managed to bork up the setup, and now I cannot access my HA server anymore through my browser. I tried accessing through:

http://192.168.xx.xxx:8123
http://homeassistant.local:8123

Both resulting in my browser giving me an ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE error message.

I can ping the unit, and it seems to work just fine in that automations run and all my connected sensors/lights/etc work, I just cannot access it anymore.

I make regular backups so I’m hoping to somehow regain access to the unit and restore a backup.

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Do you have one of the SSH add-ons installed, or the Samba server ?

I do have Samba share installed, yes. I forgot about that. When I go to the shared network drive I see one folder that I shared at one point:

EDIT: I managed to setup a new share and now I have access to all files. Hopefully I can now just change my configuration.yaml and all will be good. Thanks so far!

EDIT2: fixed, thanks again
