Cannot create issue on GitHub

Hi there,

I would like to open up a new issue in the core repo on GitHub. To be more specific, I found a bug in the remote_calendar integration. But when I enter all my data, I only get an error message “Unable to create issue.”. Moreover, when looking at the GraphQL communication, the error message is not helpful (“Could not resolve to a node with the global id of ‘IT_kwDOANNB784AG3Hv’.”)

I haven’t posted any issue before. Is there anything I need to do beforehand? Like signing off the COD or such? I haven’t found anything in the documentation, but maybe someone knows…

Thank you.

Best, Tobias.

I guess my issue is, that I cannot set the issue type to “Bug”. Since this is part of the template, the template fails. Can anyone confirm?

I think the issue type is for the maintainer of the code to set after they have reviewed your issue. It’s up to them to decide what kind of problem it is.

True, this is, how I know the procedure as well. The thing is, that some days ago, the issue type has become part of the template - so it is set automatically. If I am not allowed to set the issue type (which would be totally normal), I effectively cannot submit bugs. Or am I missing something here?

Can anyone confirm this (using a more or less “fresh” GitHub account) - at least one, which is not listed as “contributor”?
