Been battling this for a week or two now. Cannot get my ESP32 C3 to show up in Devices list. It shows up as on-line in ESP Home Builder. When I attempt to manually add it, it doesn’t show up. Using IP address it says it cannot find it and to make sure API section is included in YAML, which it is. Any help would be greatly aprectiated.
Please share the YAML you’re using to build and deploy the C3 as a start.
It sounds like the C3 is never making a network connection, so you might check your router to see if you can tell if the C3 has connected to the network at all.
Nevermind. I finally figured it out. I had my Home Assistant tied into Wifi and wired… Wifi is a separate network than wired on my network. When I unplugged the ethernet cable, all started working.
