Been working on adding some notifications to my Google TV 4k (dongle) on my Sony Bravia Android TV.
I have it working to where, whenever a person is detected by my doorbell camera, it sends a pop up notification to my TV. This is working.
What I would like to do is also do a pop up notification and a screenshot or gif of the doorbell camera when someone actually rings the doorbell.
From the documentation the nest doorbell battery doesn’t support snapshots, only mp4 or gif.
I’ve tried those, and can’t ever get the call service to work. Best I can do is do a Call Service and then check the directory where the screen capture should go and it’s just a blank image.
I’ve also tried the Camera:stream service and it tells me that’s not supported by my doorbell.
I am using the Web2RTC integration so I thought to try the WebRTC Dashcast service but it wants a url of the camera if I’m reading the automation correctly.
It’s a RTSP link and I for the life of me cannot find this url.
If I go to home.google.com where I see the live feeds of all of my nest/google cameras and select my doorbell, then right click it, “Copy Video Link” is grayed out.
Where can I find this and will this even work?
