A previous post on this show resolved but the user did not explain what he did to fix the problem.
I changed the (static) IP address of my server in HA in order to relocate it to a different subnet.
This seems to have failed and I am unable to access the server via either the old or new IP.
I am able to see the device with the “new” IP using advanced port scanner, but cannot ping it. I cannot currently access the terminal locally as I do not have a micro hdmi adapter (now on order).
Is there some trick to revert back to the previous settings?
Not sure how to proceed.
This is a Raspberry Pi5 based system that was working fine until I “fixed” it.
Thank you.
I’ve never tried, but in theory you could connect a pc directly with an ethernet cable to the pi, set a static ip on the pc in the same subnet and connect that way.
