Cannot install addons which pull from docker , ISP has blocked docker. alternatives?

Hello,

I’ve recently tried installing different addons and noticed that the ones that pull their images from docker are not installing and I get an error 500. but the ones which are downloaded from github install with no problem.

I know not having access to Docker hub is a big disadvantage , but I just wanted to know what other ways do I have to install those addons? perhaps manually download them from docker with a VPN and transfer them to rbp ? i lookup up the" ha addons" command but I found no way of installing docker images manually.

any suggestions?

… your ISP has blocked docker hub ???

that is by far the issue here, that is like blocking google or amazon, I cannot believe that an ISP would do that intentionally, perhaps there is something else going on, or a DNS request for DH gave an incorrect IP.

I would try switching your DNS servers to 8.8.8.8 and 9.9.9.9 and trying again

Thanks but that did not solve the problem. either IPS has blocks DH or DH has blocked access. either way, it works with a VPN. the problem is that I couldn’t find a way to tunnel all traffic by VPN. for now I have to turn it on from the router. this is really frustrating.
