Cannot update or install addons

TLDR: Cannot update the install or install any addons. Keeps saying no internet (host_internet: false).
I can ping and use curl to get the online.txt from the homeassistant pod, but the hassio_supervisor pod gets connection reset by peer. I can ping 1.1.1.1 from both. Any suggestions? I tried doing this on Virtual Box using the OVA as well.

My Setup:

Raspbery Pi 3B+ - 32gb SD Card
Home Assistant 2023.3.3 
Supervisor 2023.03.1 
Operating System 9.5 
Frontend 20230309.0 - latest 

Cat 5e cable hooked up directly to the router.

Networking Settings:

IP Set to Static both in Router & HA GUI
DNS set to 8.8.8.8 (tried 1.1.1.1 and my router as well)

This is a fresh install. I had originally installed this last weekend, but was running into the same error message. Was able to setup everything, and even connect Blink & Amazon to it. Going to add-on’s and trying to install or even update HA, gives the no host internet.

When I powered the device on, it even told me that there was an update but was not able to perform it, that is why I did a fresh install today.

The things I have tried:

1) Swapped the ethernet cable out
2) Changing DNS
3) Assigning a static IP
4) Rebooting
5) Reinstall

I am at a loss, am I missing something?
Appreciate any help!

Looked in router and I see outgoing connections from the raspberry pi to the internet.

Bump.

If I disable the check for host_internet, I can download addons. However, this is not recommended.

Same problem I had. Thanks for sharing this, it helped to search the way, how can I disable it:)

Finaly I have found, so let me share it here. It may helps to someone else too:

I managed to disable the host_internet check: ignoring the internet_host condition.

ha jobs options --ignore-conditions internet_host

The network info still the same, but I was able to install all addons I have:

➜  ~ ha network info | grep internet
host_internet: false
supervisor_internet: true

and to reset it back to normal, after addon update completed:

ha jobs reset

Hi Team,
Let me start in saying I am very green to HA and have been avoiding it for some time and just running with Tuya due to the fact that I didnt want to step into a unholy war of code error but I took the leap and crap straight in the head things dont work like above.
I can integrate my Tuya devices, generic cameras, other household devices no problems but the moment I try to update HA I get " Failed to call service update / install. Error updating home assistant core unknown error see Supervisor" ,
when I try any addon I get “Failed to install add-on Unkown error, see supervisor”
HA version is 2022.8.7
Supervisor is 2023.04.01
Frontend is 20220802.0

Any help would be so much appreciated I would like to move forward with HA but at the moment I cant do anything and even trying to update via Docker returns Supervisor errors
