Cannot update to HA Core 2023.2.1 - perpetual wheel of death

Since receiving the notification to update my core to 2023.2.1, I’ve been trying to do so from the UI without success. I get the spinning wheel of death perpetually. I’ve let it run overnight with no luck and in the morning I have to reboot the system because it is frozen. I think I’ve been trying over the last 4 days.

I’m running on a Pi 4 with external flash drive and HASS OS v. 9.5. I’ve searched for hours and can’t seem to find a solution.

My log has this:

2023-02-04 07:27:46.944 ERROR (MainThread) [homeassistant.components.hassio.handler] Timeout on /addons/core_configurator/stats request
2023-02-04 07:27:46.946 WARNING (MainThread) [homeassistant.components.hassio] Could not fetch stats for core_configurator:
2023-02-04 07:27:46.949 ERROR (MainThread) [homeassistant.components.hassio.handler] Timeout on /addons/core_ssh/stats request
2023-02-04 07:27:46.951 WARNING (MainThread) [homeassistant.components.hassio] Could not fetch stats for core_ssh:

I’m really trying not to hammer the server, but I just can’t seem to figure out how to get past this. Is this a server issue or can anyone point me to where I might look in my own system to resolve the issue?

Thanks very much.

Well, whatever happened with 2023.2.2 fixed the problem and I was able to update from 2023.1.7.

Actually, it continued to crash. The real solution was upgrading from a Raspberry Pi 4 to an Odroid N2+. No more crashing and much snappier.
