Cannot use Home assistant android App due to Synology certificate?

Good day,

I have Home assistant installed on Virtual Machine on Synology nas DS723+,
I am able to to Access it using DDNS & reverse proxy with HTTPS,

now my problem is I cannot use HA App anymore, it gives me error on Synology certificate that I created…

However I can Access it using the link directly on chrome (not from the APP)…
is there a way to se the Home assistant andriod APP ?

Did you link created certificate with proxy HA page you created?
I made like THIS and it worked for me.

Do you mean assign this certificate on this new subdomain, yes I did…
everything is working fine from website exept from the android app i got error

If web site doesn’t complain about wrong certificate (only app does) then perhaps you need to clear app’s cache.

Seems like your app is configured to use different connection URL that one configured in certificate? Could give us some more data:

  • internal URL of your HA
  • how your HA instance (sub)doman was configured in certificate request (please redact your real domain name!). Is it using Synology service or Letsencrypt?
  • URL you use to connect to HA from outside your network using browser
  • your Companion App configuration for connection to HA
    Also, do you use Nabu Cloud?

cleared app’s cache still same thing.

Is it possible that the problem is with the certificate? because I heard some of them are not working?

Did you assign correct certificate for your domain ha.xxx.synology.me? You must create and assign correct one, not standard one as it’s used for synology general access. You hide most important things on last and second to last picture. What is here:

it MUST be “ha.xxxxx.synology.me”, not just “xxxxx.synology.me”

Awesome, it was (subdomain) certificate not created… thank you for your support,…
Last thing it is working fine from External link, but once connect to wifi it gives me : 403: Forbidden
