Can't Access Configuration File from Configurator on home network

My history wasn’t tracking since reloading an old saved configuration, so I renamed the home-assistant_v2 database to home-assistant_v2_old, and restarted the HA. I’m running hassio on a RP3. This recreated a new home-assistant_v2 database file upon start-up.
Fortunately, the history function now works fine. But now I’m unable to access the configuration file from the configurator icon on the left of the screen. When I click the configurator wrench, I get a sad face icon and a message: 192.168.86.52 refused to connect.
I AM able to access the files via the samba share add on.
Is there anyway to remedy this situation?
This is all taking place from within my home network (LAN).
Thanks for your help.
DK

Deleting the database file and creating a new one does not affect your access to the configurator, so something else is wrong.

Thanks Nick. I looked back at my add-ons, and somehow the configurator add-on got switched off. I should have checked that first. All is well now. Thanks for responding.
