Can't access Home Assistant because of firewall

I run Home Assistant on a Windows-computer with Comodo Internet Security.
I have opened up port 8123 in the firewall but can’t access HA when I’m not on my network.
When I open ALL ports, I can access it from the outside.
What ports do I have to open, to get through?

Edit:
Here is what I added in Comodo Firewall:
Portsets (when I set it to Any port, it worked. But that seems risky)
Global Rules - Source and Destination

Without any information of your configuration this is quite hard to tell you. To you have a reverse proxy? Or maybe you changed the default port?

Thanks for the fast answer.
I don’t know what a reverse proxy is.
I did a basic installation of Home Assistant and use port 8123.
It works fine when I’m on my network (from my cellphone). But whe I am outside, it only works when i open all ports in my firewall (now I only have 8123 open).
The port forward works fine.

If you did not change anything port 8123 should be enough. That’s the only port HA uses afaik. Maybe you opening “all” ports also opens something else in your firewall software?

Yes, maybe you are right. I will have to dig deeper in Comodo.
Thanks for the help.

I experimented yesterday, but couldn’t find anything. :slightly_frowning_face:
If someone knows any other ports I need to open…or anything else that could help, I would be so greatful.

The only port HA requires is 8123 (TCP) to be forwarded. That’s all I did, and it worked just fine. It might be because you’re limiting it to 8123 outbound.

Unfortunately Comodo Firewall isn’t something I’ve used, so it might be you need to ask on Comodo’s forums how to configure it.
