I had to reset my home assistant yellow because I changed my network equipment and the vlan IP range from 192.168.1.1/24 to 10.1.66.1/24, and the home assistant didn't appear to update to the new range. I have hard reset it a few times, but I can't get to any form of web access via ip or the standard http://homeassistant.local:8123. Any recommendation on how regain access to it?
Plug a monitor in and see what the ip address is.
Did you have a fixed address? How did you set this address?
When I have a "lost" device on my network. I write a script to ping all the addresses. Then I sort through the list, eliminating the known ones. Then I try all the unknown ones.
To avoid this, though, using the DHCP server on my router, I assign addresses to important devices, like HA.
I only use @Arh 's approach as a last ditch effort because the device that is hosting my HA is in the garage, up out of the way and strapped to the shelf (California earthquakes).
My router has assigned it. I did tell it to stay static on the router. The address was DHCP
Can you ping that new IP address?
Can one connect a display to the yellow: if so, you can do that to see what the console says.
