Can't add Fibaro Roller Shutter 3 to Home Assistant?

I’m trying to add the Fibaro Roller Shutter 3 to Home assistant. This device was meant to make our (dumb) sunscreen smart so we can control it from our phones/HA, which has this kind of switch to control it.

This is the manual we got.

First we’ve installed it (well… an electrician did haha). When the our NAC with home assistant arrived and we set it up, we wanted to add the roller shutter to HA. We clicked within ‘home assistant’ on Add device and then on add Z-wave device

Then clicked on smartstart

And filled in the code which the QR-code on the device gives us. Then it gives a succesful message:

However, after this step we are confused. No devices are added and turning the switch on, turning it on 3-5 times quickly in a row (this is the S1 I think?), holding the B-button for 5 or 10 seconds or clicking the b-button quickly 3 times (after which a green led will start flashing for a short while), does nothing.

HA is up to date, as is the Z-wave USB controller that’s installed. We don’t have a Fibaro hub or have a Fibaro app installed.

How do I get the rolling shutter into my Home Assistant? What are we doing wrong?

Apparently my NAC where Home Assistant was installed wasn’t close enough to the shutter, and/or not enough Z-wave devices in beween. (the NAC was in our attic, the shutter downstairs, with an entire floor in between).

When we put them closer together and tried the QR code again, it was found.
