I have a few calendars for different people, all in the same instance… but if I create an event in the wrong calendar, I can’t then go into the event and change the calendar. I’ve got to delete the event and re-create it.
Is this deliberate for some reason? I’m on the latest version of HA and I have tried refreshing the browser (which seems to work for some missing configurations)
It looks like it allows it as there is a drop down to the right, and also a “x” which removes the calendar… it just doesn’t allow you to select a new one.
The “cross” can be selected and the contents are deleted, but nothing else can be put in its place. Also, the drop down arrow exists, but doesn’t respond.
I am using local calendars and I would expect the drop down to at least list the local calendars to be moved.
However, given what you’re saying, then there is something wrong with the X allowing the calendar to be deleted and then not allowing saving of the event.
The cross that I indicated with the arrow. It responds to being clicked on and thus deletes the calendar from the event. If this is to work as you say it should, then that X should also be greyed out and so should the drop down to the right.
It uses the same form for creation and modification. The dropdown remains partially functional; the down-arrow shows no other options but the X erases the selected option.
Ideally both icons ought to be completely locked out (or hide the entire field) to prevent users from wondering about its seemingly limited purpose.
