Can't change room for Homekit Bridge Accessories

I am using Homekit Bridge to bring a few items into Apple Home for the rest of the family to use. The problem is any accessory I bring over goes the the default location of where my HA NUC is which is the loft. The outside lights appear in the loft. The stair lights appear in the loft. The well pump emergency shutoff is in the loft, and so on. I tried to move them in the Home App but I always get “Could not change settings”. I saw this on Reddit HomeKit Bridge can’t change devices room but that doesn’t seem to work either. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Have you gone through the typical troubleshooting? Meaning - have you restarted your Apple Home Hub and HA? Have you tried resetting the Homekit yaml in the Development tools?

When you say reset the Homekit yaml do you mean just remove the homekit bridge section? Not sure what you are asking here. I have restarted HA and my Homepod Mini so that part is already done.

Whe you go to developer tools, on the initial page that loads where you can check your config yaml and restart, scroll down. You’ll see a link that says HomeKit. If you click it, it will reload only the HomeKit yaml.

Thanks, after trying everything again then attempting to move my accessories I was finally able to get them into the correct room in Apple Home. Thanks for the suggestions.
