Hi, I’m struggling with the NIBE integration. Uses modbus tcp/ip and enters the correct ip and port, but always gets the error message: Error when reading request from pump. Confirm your “External read port” or “External address”. I know that the modbus device is active because I have contact with another device and have pinged it. Anyone with similar problems?
I cant really help with the specific problem, but generally have you checked the port is open and modbus access is enabled?
A ping is working on a different port.
Hi, @JohnFLoki , I have another device (Logic Machine) that reads data from my Modbus device. So since this is working, it should work with HA aswell, but it doesn’t. But do you know of another way to do it without using the Nibe integration?
Sometimes there can only be one device connected. Try to disconnect the other one.
Nevermind, I found the issue. I was selecting the wrong pump model (VVM320 and not S320). When I selected S320 it works.
