Can't connect music assistant to SMB share

I’m running HAOS with Music Assistant. I want to connect to the smb share on my TP-Link’s USB drive (and music subfolder) that’s located at \192.168.0.1\g\mymusic . I’ve confirmed that I can connect to that in windows with the correct username admin and password.

In Music Assistant I get the error (I can’t copy and paste it, but…) Connection failed, smb mount failed error 22. Invalid argument. mounting //192.168.0.1/g/mymusic on /tmp/filesystem-smb–CRo6Z2gV failed Invalid Argument

Am I configuring it wrong?

Try using the server hostname instead of IP address. If you click on the question mark to the right of the Server section, you’ll see it’s expecting a hostname.

I couldn’t get it to connect to my router’s hostname (it says Tp-share or Tp-share.local is unresolvable even though \\Tp-share works in windows) but I did have success connecting to another smb server by using a computer name instead of the IP address. ie: DESKTOP-49IAJTI.local with the windows password. I guess that’s good enough! Thanks for the help.
