Cant connect to Home Assistant with some Chromium based Browsers

This morning I opened my pc which was still on, and looked at the Home Assistant tab in Vivaldi which was displaying my dashboard and looked normal , I clicked on Music Assistant and the page displayed was blank, so I looked at AddOns and that showed a blank screen. Tried Hardware to reboot the HA machine (an Intel NUC) but the reboot button was unresponsive.

I tried accessing HA from Brave on the same machine but all I got was the HA Logo screen.

I tried again with Firefox and that works fine. I cleared Cache on Vivaldi & Brave and rebooted HA.

Now I have a situation where I cant access HA from Brave or Vivaldi (the only Chromium based browsers I use) but I can from Firefox, Librefox, Safari and my phone

Yesterday I did have a go at configuring my SkyConnect device for matter and installed the Open Thread Border router. I have since uninstalled the Open Thread Border router with no change in the behavior even after a reboot
.

I am not using HTTPS

Home Assistant is up to date with Version 2024.11.2
Brave is using Version 1.73.91 but same problem occurs with 1.68.141
Vivaldi is also up to date t 7.0.3495.15

Can anyone offer any suggestion’s as to what is happening?

Hi Tim,

Do you have pihole or adware installed? Sounds like something one of those nasty programs would do.

Thanks

Good steer It was No Script 12.01 that upgraded overnight
