Can't connect to the Green device with Home Assistant app

Hello,

I am contacting you following the purchase of a Home Assistant Green device. I have followed the setting up procedure :

- Connecting the Ethernet cable to my Internet livebox,

- Putting the power on,

- The lights started blinking (yellow lights with heartbeat + green light blinking + white light one).

When I launch the home Assistant app on my iPhone or my macbook (even with a samsung smartphone), I tried to connect to the Green device. Nothing happens : the page “Searching on home network” stays on. So, I tried to enter the web address manually : http://192.168.1.27:8123 and http://homeassistant.local:8123 but the page can't be found either. It appears “We couldn't connect to Home Assistant” (I am at home).

Connecting a monitor to the Green device, it says “System is ready ! Use browser or app to configure”.

Do you konw how to fix this issue?

Thanks for your support.

Juliette

Sounds strange thou maybe Ha is “busy” downloading latest version
Try ( connect a keyboard to the Green, and type below command

ha core logs –follow

If it’s “moving text” it might not be “complete” ready

Note: the sign before “follow” is 2 dash , seems like the new Forum is not right

Thanks for your feedback. I have tried the “ha core logs –follow” command and got some text. I attached the screenshot pic in this message.

hmmm that doesn’t look good , as i thought somethings wrong with the installation process, it seems

Try to type

ha core update

Indeed… I tried this new command but nothing happens it seems.

Nothing “running” ? , then try

ha core rebuild

can you “ping” 192.168.1.27 ?

Also make sure it’s not your TP-cable ( Is it blinking green on your Green ? ) Blinking green and Yellow )

There is something wrong, during the installation/onboarding, so You could also try to follow the “Reset” procedure, or first try to just, unplug it, and plug it in again(power it off), and make sure it has contact with the internet
