Can't connect to web interface on HA Green

I want to get to using my first smart light bulb, new to smart home stuff

I got the HA green, but I can’t connect to the web interface. did nothing special, just plugged it in and it seems to be broken.
http ://homeassistant .local:8123/ → “Unable to connect” in firefox
http ://homeassistant .local:4357/ → works well, I see the blue screen with “Connected” “Supportred” “Healthy”

I connected a monitor, it shows indeed the IP is 10.0.0.4/8 (set it in dhcp settings on the router)
I tried to connect like this too, but I still get the same result
http ://10.0.0.4 :8123/ → unable to connect
http ://10.0.0.4 :4357/ → works well

pinging 10.0.0.4 is reliable: constantly between 3 and 14 ms (from my laptop on wifi). works about the same as another server on my network

OS version: 16.2
HA Core: 2025.12.4

what do I do in this situation? honestly, it looks like the hardware is fine, just the web server doesn’t start for some reason, but what do I know.

I also bought a HA Connect ZBT-2 which I had initially connected to the Green, but now it’s disconnected until I get this sorted out

performed a reset as described here

the web interface is now available

Glad you got it working. Out of curiosity, why are you running a /8 network?

Can you report it to Nabu Casa please. The number of Green boxes that don’t work correctly when unboxed reported on these forums could indicate a faulty initial software configuration bundle from their end.
