Can't edit or create automations in editor

Hi!

When I try to edit or create an automation I receive the following error:

Message malformed: extra keys not allowed @ data['mode']

This happens when I edit any automation or when I tried to create a new one. Also, I checked my automations.yaml file and I got the same error if the automations are there or if the file is empty.

I can edit and create automations in the automations.yaml file without problems and that’s what I’ve been doing, but sometimes it’s much more comfortable creating from the editor.

Any ideas?

The automation UI editor doesn’t yet support the brand new “mode” options for automations and scripts.

But I’m not using the “mode” option. When the file automations.yaml is empty and I try to create a new automation I get the same error.

Is this an error or a warning in the lower corner? Can you take a screenshot of the error?

Im having the exact same issue. Its wreaking havoc on my system. I keep losing chunks of my automations.yaml file with everything I try. I recently updated to 0.112.2 and since then im unable to edit my automations with the visual editor.

Deleting the database and upgrading to 0.114.4 the problem was solved.

Out of curiosity, which database should i delete?
