Hi all new to home assistant have just purchased home assistant green pluged it into router with ethernet and power and the 3 led are on but i can not find the server on the app
Welcome @Dean2421.
Have you tried following the troubleshooting steps in the green documentation?
You can find your IP address by checking connected devices in your router page, or using an app like Fing on your mobile.
If that doesn’t work, hook up an HDMI cable to your green and a monitor and have a look at the IPv4 address listed there:
Hi yes i can see it on fing and can see the ip address when i plug the monitor in
Allso cant open http://homeassistant.local:8123
As it says
This site can’t be reached
Check if there is a typo in homeassistant.local.
DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN
Try using the IP directly instead of homeassistant.local eg. http://192.168.1.25:8123 (replace with your actual IP)
EDIT: Also, try to access that address from any browser on PC on the same network, just to rule out wifi issues
Yeah have tried that and it say site can’t be reached
Refused to connect
What is the IP address of your PC / Phone ?
I had the same problem.
In the end, this is what helped me
