Can't find the URL for the REST API

Hi All,
Apologies if my searches of this excellent community has failed to find an answer to my query.
I am still finding my feet with Home Assistant. I have a HA Green with a ZBT-1 for Zigbee. I want to add the Ikea Matter over thread range of devices so purchased a ZBT-2 and configured it for Thread. I find that Open Thread Border Router will not install without a URL for the REST API. I cannot work out what the URL is. Using the IP address of the HA green with port 8081 is not connecting. I have been looking for a list of enabled ports in HA but cannot find one. Is there another IP address that I should be using? I have seen some posts suggesting that IPv6 should be enabled in HA. If so where will I find that switch.
I can provide further information on demand. Please be aware that I am not yet comfortable with all the tech speak on here. Thank you for your understanding.

The OTBR App/AddOn should install and run as long as it is happy talking to the ZBT-2.
On the otherhand, the OTBR (and Thread) Integration need to use a websocket to talk to the OTBR AddOn and the URL is for the websocket address of the OTBR AddOn. With HAOS (which I assume you are using on the Green), the URL should be auto-discovered without needing to be prompted for it.

My guess is that the OTBR AddOn/App started running but then failed (probably because it can’t talk to the ZBT) and so when the OTBR Integration started running it tried to use the URL it discovered, but failed to talk to the OTBR AddOn/App (because it quit running). Take a look at the OTBR Addon/App logs and see if it is running or if its stopped.

Hi Wmaker, Thank you so much for the response. You idea was a good one. I found the url from the logs and that allowed me to install the OBTR add on. Now its running I will try to add a new matter device. I will post what happens.

I have tried two different Ikea devices by scanning the QR code in the matter app>add device. The app starts to connect but is unable to reach the device. Both devices appear to be in pairing mode and have never been paired before. I cannot see anything itelligible in the Matter, Thread or OBTR logs. Any idea where I go next? All thoughts gratefully received.

Make sure you have IPv6 enabled and set to auto.
Also make sure you have the Thread credentials on your phone (See this doc)
