Can't integrate shelly device in Home assistant on Truenas Scale OS

Hello everyone,

I’m new to the forum and I’m reaching out for some assistance with an issue that has been causing me quite a bit of frustration.

I have several Shelly 2.5 devices in my house, and I’m looking to integrate them with Home Assistant. I’ve installed the official TrueNAS Scale Home Assistant app on my TrueNAS OS, and everything seems to be working fine, except for one crucial aspect - the system cannot detect any of my Shelly devices, and even manual installation attempts have failed.

I’ve followed the provided guidelines, but the integration simply isn’t working as expected, and I’m at a loss as to what I might be doing wrong. To provide more context, I’ve enabled CoIoT within the Shelly devices and configured them with the IP address and port 5683 of my TrueNAS OS while ensuring they are discoverable. I’ve also taken steps to open UDP and TCP port 5683 in my router settings to allow communication, but unfortunately, Home Assistant doesn’t seem to recognize the Shelly devices, not even in manual mode.

Have any of you encountered a similar problem, and if so, how did you manage to resolve it? Your insights and guidance would be greatly appreciated.

PS: forgive me if it’s in the wrong forum section
