Can't seem to fully rename generic thermostat helper

Hi guys. Super new to HA (literally less than a week now) so I’m not good at problem solving yet.

I set up a generic thermostat helper, but I can’t seem to fully rename the damn thing. I’ve renamed it in every setting that I could find, but I just can’t figure out how to change its name here:

It’s just stuck on the name I gave it when initially setting it up.

It’s driving me insane. I’ve spent like an hour checking and re-checking every instance I could find, but no luck. I could just delete the stupid thing and make a new one, but for my sanity’s sake, I need to know how to do it properly…

Alrernatively, if anyone can direct me to where the helpers are located on the system storage, I’d settle for directly editing the name there. Although admittedly that does feel almost nuclear.

So, I think you click the Name in that Gear screen you have open there and change it?

That’s the first thing I checked, unfortunately.

Also, rebooted the system a few times and the issue still persists.

What I did was click on the 3 dots next to the gear icon and select device info. On the device page there was a pencil icon in the upper right corner that I clicked and was able to change the name.

Unfortunately, device info directs to the AC, so it renames that, not the generic thermostat helper…
