I can’t set the high low range using the climate.settemp service or using the HA UI of my 2x Nest thermostats. I can set the range when using the Google Home app and the Nest app. When I set the HVAC mode to Heat or Cool, I can set the temperature, I just can’t set the range temp when it is in Heat/Cool mode… Is this a known limitation?
I think this might actually be something new with Google, because when I try and create a routine in Google Home with the action being change a thermostat setpoint, it only allows you to change 1 value, and when you set the mode to heat/cool in Google Home it doesn’t even accept a setpoint.
Did you ever figure this out? I have the same problem: if the Nest is just heat or just cool then everything is fine, as soon as I set it to heat/cool it loses connection with HA constantly and wont’ change the set temperatures.
Nope haven’t figured out and extremely frustrating
