Can't setup Alexa Media Player

I’m having trouble setting up Alexa Media Player in HA. I’ve downloaded it from HACS. When I try to add the integration, I get the dialog to enter my credentials: Amazon region, email, PW, 2SV authenticator key. It replies with a OTP code, which matches. So I click OK. I then get a new window for Alexa to create a new Amazon account, or to Sign In as an existing customer. I choose existing customer. Enter Amazon email & PW & click sign in. I then get a CAPCHA. I enter that. Errors out to “500 Internal Server Error/Server got itself in trouble”.

I’m running HA in a Docker container on a Synology NAS with a Windows 11 desktop client. HA has been running successfully for several months with about 25 integrations. I’ve made no changes to configuration.yaml.

Any suggestions what I might be doing wrong?

This same issue started with me today. Some other topics (older) claim enabling 2FA would make it work again, but unfortunately that is not a solution if you have multiple amazon accounts. No one, since 2 years, seem to have posted a working fix really besides the 2FA - so, either they have got it to work and haven’t posted how, or have just abandoned the integration then this issue has come.

Has anyone got this working? I’m having the same problem.
