Can't update FW on Zooz ZEN04

I have 3x Zooz ZEN04 plugs and 2x update from FW 2.50 to 2.60 just fine. One of them will not update. I get a quick scan of the device and then the below error. All of these were purchased at the same time and updated from FW 2.20 to 2.50 just fine. so I don’t understand what is going on.

Any guidance will be greatly appreciated.

After some Z-Wave VooDoo I got it to update.

Here’s what I did:

  • Unplugged and Re-plugged to power cycle it - No help
  • Moved it closer to ZWA-2, which shouldn’t matter since it’s LR. - No help
  • Pulled another ZEN04 from the box purchased at the same time. - Updated fine
  • Put the failing ZEN04 back into it’s previous location - Updated fine this time

I hate troubleshooting wireless. Give me an Ethernet or fiber cable any day of the week.
