Hi.
I have Home Assistant Yellow.
Awkward: I can’t update my Home Assistant Core from 2025.3.4 to 2025.6.1.
And it’s persistant state: I was not able to do last update as well. I click “skip it” that time. But that’s probably not what I want.
When I click update I see the spinner, but nothing happens. I would assume that there should be some kind of logs, but I don’t know where to find them.
Can you help me with this issue? Starting from where I can find update logs?
Well, to be precise I have logs /config/logs but I don’t see there anything update related.
That’s definitely the issue. Start by checking your backups folder. Download your more recent backups somewhere safe, then delete all backups from HA.
Do a couple of restarts to flush out the logs, then check how much space you have available
Edit: saw your logs. Pete wasn’t kidding when he mentioned issues with Homekit. Something’s trying to connect at a rate of twice a minute, so your logs must be massive.
If you can’t immediately identify that device, you’re gonna have to disable Homekit before doing the restarts, otherwise your logs will keep ballooning
Ah, at least I got what is that. Apple.
I have HomeKit Bridge and HomeKit Device in settings - devices and services.
Both controlled via yaml. But I don’t really remember how I did this.
Will google it out.
