Placing things on a floor plan has always meant typing left: 42%, saving, looking, and typing 43%. Picture Studio drops that loop: you drag the item where you want it, on the live preview, and that is the configuration. And dragging is only where it starts.
You get the items you already know — icons and labels — except you place them by dragging, and each carries its own anchoring, sizing and chrome options.
And badges. Home Assistant’s own — the exact pill from the top of a dashboard view, custom ones from other frontend plugins included.
conditional is gone, replaced by Home Assistant’s own visibility conditions: the same editor, the same live preview, on every item.
The card can also carry a heading above the picture — title, icon, and Home Assistant’s own heading badges, the ones a view’s heading card uses.
