In my 2025 Chevy Equinox(ICE not EV) it has ‘Google built-in’ which is not AAOS (thats on the ev), i use android auto thru my phone and companion app and settings work fine thru it. but AA sometimes takes a while to get fired up. I have HA installed on the car itself (not just AA) but it doesn’t seem to offer any type of configuration or adjustment, it also only seems to update covers on startup (i use the covers to control my garage doors). Is there something I’m missing somehwere, or is this future update in the pipeline?
By updating covers on startup, what do you mean? Is it not functioning to open/close?
I ask because mine is no longer controlling my garage door, but if I grab my phone and manually do it in the app, it displays the status correctly through Android Auto. It just won’t work pressing the button on my screen anymore.
sorry never got notification for the reply, it doesn’t update it’s status after you use the cover buttons, they stay at whatever they were displaying until you shutdown the car and start ti back up then it seems to poll the current status open/closed
