Hi,
I have a ceiling lamp bought in Lidl which works like this: when you turn it on it have a maximum lit, if you turn off and than on it goes slightly dim, when you turn it again off and than on it goes more dimmed. Inside it has small AC/DC converter which give 104V 200mA DC DC 80% duty cycle on max brightness , 70% duty on next dimming level and 60% on min brightness (if my Uni-t measure it right).
Lamp have lot of space to install some ESP board, power supply for ESP and some PWM controller.
Does anyone have experience how to control such voltage with Mosfet? I think of putting Mosfet in series with original power supply and control it with ESP module.
Interested to see how you get on with this I have a similar light and looked at and thought too difficult. Mine was a constant current driver and thought if I PWM after it might confuse the driver as the average current will drop and thought it may raise the voltage to compensate.
Will be interesting to see if anyone has a solution.
