Centralite 3323-G door/temp sensor getting "stuck" and not reporting changes

Have a new centralite 3323-G door/temp sensor. Had good experience with it for the first few days. Now, periodically, it will “freeze” and not report state changes. Still shows as available, but will just show one state (open or closed), and stay locked on it’s last temperature, without updates.

Removing and replacing battery will get it started reporting again, but within about 1 day it “freezes” again.

Just tried new battery to be sure I didn’t get a dud, but that did not help problem.

Using ZHA and a raspbeeII as my zigbee interface. I’ve put a sonoff plug between door and hub to ensure good link quality.

I have a linkind door sensor that appears to work just fine, and is lot freezing up in the same way.

Any advice on things to try? Is this Centralite door sensor known to be problematic in ZHA? I seem to have seen some recent threads on some HA updates that have caused people issues, maybe that’s in play?

This is my first month getting the HA setup working. I have several good other areas of the house working well with other devices, this one just seems to be problematic.

I’m have the same issue with the same sensor. Have you found a fix?

That door sensor has been hit or miss for me. Seems like if you get lucky when pairing it will operate without issues.

Did you find how to make it work? I just bought 2 and they connect just fine to my HA, report back battery life and temperature fine. They don’t report the open/closed status, it seems to be stuck on closed.

For sure this has something to do with an issue related to HA. I paired my Centralite sensor with HA only today and it was working with other hardware just before. With previous (not Centralite related but Zigbee hardware) the open/closed status was working ok.

Unfortunately with my knowledge it’s not possible to solve the issue.

EDIT: For some reason problem, at least for now, was solved when pairing the device near the zigbee dongle. Hasn’t been an issue with earlier setup, but at least this is what it looks at the moment.

I have the same issue. I’m migrating off of ST where these sensors worked perfectly and I can’t get them to work in ZHA. One discovered and reports temp and battery but doesn’t show open/closed correctly and the other doesn’t show battery or open/closes correctly. :frowning:
