Hello there.
I have a nanoleaf lines controller, this device acts as a thread border router for my network - I have a HA Yellow.
Recently however it was being flaky so I got a new lines controller and set it up yesterday. I have set the new one up and all was fine initially.
At some point today the new lines controller decided to create a differently named thread network 05 the old one was 04 which it did create originally yesterday.
This is causing me some issues. I went through and reconfigured all of my nanoleaf lights to point at the new network in the nanoleaf app, this made them available again in HA.
I also have a few tado thermostats that use thread, these are currently not working. So when trying to pair them from a factory reset state (deleting them and then adding them through the matter integration) the device is trying to connect to a non existent network…
If I look at the thread settings in the android companion app I see…
There appears to be no way for me to make the new 05 one the default.
Things I have tried:
Removing the batteries from all the thermostats so there are no devices that are using the old network.
Sending credentials from the app (says it has worked) which I believe should give me the (I) in the corner to be able to select it as the preferred network.
Sending the credentials from troubleshooting…
Deleting the thread integration and adding it back also didn’t work both 04 and 05 appeared again.
So what I want to do is get rid of the old one that no longer exists. Does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks as always.
