Change faulty cost calculation in energy dashboard

Hi good peeps

The other day my AI on the edge watermeter went bananas with all kinds of crazy values. One of my kids got hold of the device so I had to set it up again. Sometime during this the values got very messed up with extremely high readings then crazy negative ones, on this one day.
I managed to correct the readings so that it is pretty much spot on correct, however the cost calculations for that one day is TOTALLY insanely wrong. Is there any way I can edit/fix that cost calculation in HA? This messes up the entire meaning of the energy dashboard with this super hight cost of water of 27 000 SEK in water on one day, when it in fact is something like 4 SEK.

Please see the picture for better understanding.

What I want to know is how I can fix this somehow? Selecting to not track costs and then track again does not fix it.
FYI I have a fixed cost for water, and selected the static cost option when setting up my water in energy dashboard.

Hoping for some help from this great community

Developer Tools → Statistics. Then click on the ramp icon to the right of the entity you need to fix.

Hi @tom_l
Yes I found that part and have fixed the water meter reading (removed the strange spike), but the cost calculation did not change. It stayed just the same =|

Known issue and can only be solved via the db, I had it twice one unsure other re-pairing a device and both time things got messed up. For cost, esp. with fixed prices it is an easy recalc (if you know sql) in the statistics table and (check if faulty too) statistics_short_term

EDIT: did you check your cost sensor the same way as @tom_l suggested?

At first no cost sensor/entity showed up for water, however after 2 reboots of the host machine this morning it did turn up and I managed to correct it. Thanks you both.
