Various parameters are supplied by my heating system using ebusd and mqtt. For the offset of the heating curve, I would like to have a controller with arrow keys up and down instead of the slider. The slider can only be controlled very imprecisely. For the RoomTemp, for example, the controller is offered as I would like it to be. Who or what determines how the individual tiles look and how and where can I change this?
For the one-off memory load, I would also only need a button that automatically resets itself after activation.
Seems that this “number” entity is provided by an integration which hard-coded a “slider” mode for this entity. You may ask an author of this integration to change it to “box” mode (with up/down arrows).
Meanwhile, you may create your own “input_number” entity with “box” mode - but for this you will have to learn automations etc to “connect” both entities.
P.S. Sorry, I am not getting a link between yellow marks on a picture & the text of the post, please elaborate.
