I have bought a home assistant green box and I would like to control my solar array with it but all the YouTube vids say install apps which the product doesn't support, can I change the OS from the container version to the full OS is it powerful enough and does it have enough storage. Thanks
The green is sold with HAOS, not container install. What makes you think you are running container?
Most youtube videos show old HA versions, so I bet you are looking at outdated guides. The supervisor panel does not exist anymore (for 5 years now), and addons are called apps nowadays. They live in the System menu. If you have the Apps menu, you are running HAOS and you have supervisor.
it actually just needed a reboot very strange it didn't load everything on startup all working fine now

I read somewhere this might happen if you fail to provide an ethernet connection with working internet., but I'm not affiliated to Nabu Casa so I'd contact their support. You could also try the factory reset on the support site with ethernet and internet connected.
Make sure that it's connected to the network via ethernet, then reboot (not restart) the green.
it worked, it seems my mesh was booting when the HAgreen was starting
